Away from Crawford Strategic and family I am a keen runner with a passion for running long distances in harsh environments. The photo's accompanying this text were taken during The Marathon des Sables in the Moroccan Sahara Desert and The Jungle Ultra in the Peruvian Amazon, two of the toughest footraces on earth, I competed in and completed both. I consider myself fortunate to have graduated from the Trusthouse Forte Plc fast-track management scheme and be trusted with a number of business units in my late teens and early twenties including restaurants, hotels and petrol stations this provided an incredible jump-start to my career. Over time I moved from operational management roles, to commercial positions.

Starting in telesales, I have held pretty much every commercial position you can think of, my specific area of expertise as a mature commercial director became the development of multi-discipline and multi-channel sales forces ranging in size and budgetary responsibility between a handful of market specialists selling a few million pounds per annum in niche markets to broader sectors and larger teams of up to a hundred sales people responsible for several hundred million pounds of revenue. I am an experienced commercial director, consultant, coach, non-executive director, strategist and entrepreneur. I specialise in working with ambitious companies, helping them grow sales and profits and can support the achievement of these goals in a number of different ways, as a coach, consultant, strategist or non-executive most often my engagements cross all four disciplines.
